Patio-Pro Shade System Overview

Accent has manufactured the Patio-Pro drop shade system since 1978 and it is still the most popular exterior rolling shade we offer today. The company has made many component, hardware and quality upgrades since the Patio-Pro's inception. Accent's Patio-Pro exterior drop shade is ideally suited to enclose stucco balconies, wood lattice covers, windows and doors to produce instant shade and protection.

Traveling along vertical stainless steel guide wires, the Patio-Pro's fabric rolls up or down to provide excellent & durable protection against heat, solar damage, inclement weather and even stray golf balls. The fabric is additionally secured by a weighted bottom bar. Unlike a box & track system, the Patio-Pro drop shade can be mounted onto inconsistent surfaces such as rock, brick, slanted fascia and under eaves. The stainless steel fittings used throughout construction, as well as installation, guarantee the hardware will last virtually forever.

Operated by one of the following methods:

Electrically		Using a weatherproof UL approved SOMFY tubular motor contained within the roller tube. All motors have thermal protection and built in upper and lower limit switches.
Manually		Operated using an exterior worm drive gear.
Automatically		Optional devices such as hand-held remotes, multiple group remotes, timers, wind & sun sensors that can activate your product regardless whether you're home or not.

Offered in both TEXTILENE solar screen and opaque SUNBRELLA awning fabric:

TEXTILENE Solar Screen is a durable and tough brand of synthetic mesh made of PVC coated polyester. Designed to reduce heat transfer through windows, this fabric also reduces the glare and harmful rays from the sun. While blocking the sun's rays, this solar screen material will reduce energy costs and provide protection for your indoor furnishings. TEXTILENE Solar Screen advantages include flame resistant characteristics, excellent fade resistance; and super-wide 120" goods. The expansive width of the material reduces the occurrence of unsightly seams. Excellent for daytime privacy without blocking the view, this versatile fabric will endure years of outdoor use. TEXTILENE 80 Solar Screen blocks 80% of the sun's rays, and TEXTILENE 90 Solar Screen blocks up to 90% of the sun's rays.

SUNBRELLA fabrics have been tested and proven to provide up to 98% UV protection from harmful effects of the sun when used in shade applications. SUNBRELLA fabrics have been awarded the “Seal of Recommendation" by the Skin Cancer Foundation, an international organization dedicated to the prevention of skin cancer. Whites and lighter colored fabrics provide less protection than darker fabrics, which have more depth of color. The protective factor is inherent to the product and will not be reduced by usage and/or fabric exposure to the sun.
